Like father, like son! Tina Knowles-Lawson tells Us Weekly that Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s son mimics the same facial expressions as his daddy!

The topic of the twins came up when Knowles-Lawson attended the 6th Annual Ladylike Day at UCLA on Saturday, December 16, where she gushed about her 7-month-old grandchildren, Rumi and Sir.

“It’s amazing. It’s one of the best blessings. Being a grandmother, it’s not like being a mom because you don’t have to have all the responsibility all the time, but they are amazing,” she told Us Weekly at the event. “This is my first experience around twins, and they’re so different, and their personalities, and they are wonderful.”

When asked if she was seeing any of herself in the twins, Knowles-Lawson said, “Other than the boy has a stare, like a mean mug, like Jay sometimes, which is so cute, and the girl, she’s just so happy all the time and so sweet. They are just adorable!”

As for the holidays, the glam-ma is anticipating a family-filled gathering: “I’m going to cook the biggest meal with everything I know how to cook. We’re all going to be together and I cannot wait. It’s really hard to get everyone together these days. It’s becoming harder and harder!”

Us Weekly broke the news that Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed their twins in June. The couple are also parents to daughter Blue Ivy, 5.

Knowles-Lawson spoke exclusively with Us in September and said Blue has taken to her siblings perfectly: “[Blue’s] doing amazing! She’s a big sister and she feeds them and she’s excited. And she feels responsible for them being there because she prayed for them.”
