Victoria Lee Robinson’s attorney has filed to drop her father, Will Robinson, as a client in their ongoing restraining order battles against her ex-boyfriend and former Vanderpump Rules star, Tom Sandoval.
Court documents obtained exclusively by Us show that Victoria and Will’s lawyer, Cory Weck, filed a motion to be “relieved as counsel” for her dad, citing a breakdown in communication.
“I represent J. Will Robinson in a restraining order dispute with Thomas Sandoval arising from an incident on June 03, 2026 in Los Angeles, CA,” Weck’s declaration filed on Monday, September 28, read. “There has been an irreparable breakdown in the attorney/client communications and I can no longer represent J. Will Robinson.”
The attorney claimed he has not been able to obtain Will’s consent to withdraw from his restraining order case against Sandoval, 43, despite several attempts to contact him.
The court will discuss Weck’s withdrawal at a trial setting conference set for Thursday, October 1.
As Us previously reported, the reality TV star filed for a temporary restraining order against Victoria and her father in June following an alleged violent altercation between the trio earlier that month. His temporary restraining order was granted that same day.
According to Sandoval, he was allegedly verbally and physically abused on June 3, after he accused Victoria of recording him without his consent. Sandoval also alleged that Will intervened in their argument and attacked him.
“[Will] grabbed my arms and shoulders and wrapped his arms around me. Feeling trapped and violated, I pushed him away from me in order to protect myself and create distance, which caused him to fall,” the reality star alleged in court documents at the time. “[Will] was the first person to put his hands on me. At no point did I pursue [Will].”
He accused Victoria of getting violent, too, claiming she “hit my face and temple area towards my hairline.” Sandoval said his vision was blurred and he suffered medical side effects for weeks as a result of the alleged hit.
Sandoval then called the authorities, and police arrested Victoria in connection with the alleged incident. She was released the same day on bond.
A video showing a portion of the incident between Sandoval and Will later surfaced. The footage showed the former Vanderpump Rules star seemingly pushing Victoria’s dad into a fire pit. (Sandoval argued that the video was taken out of context.)
In response, Victoria and Will filed separate restraining orders against Sandoval. Both were denied at the time and until a future hearing.
In Will’s filing, he claimed that he witnessed Sandoval allegedly overpower his daughter during the June argument, “at which time I pulled him off of her and he turned facing me then pushed me backwards into a stone-lava rock fire pit seriously injuring me.” Will claimed the push caused him to rupture a disk in his back.
In a subsequent filing submitted on August 3, Sandoval claimed Will would “minimize her behavior,” alleging that the father-daughter “worked in tandem to keep me in the relationship and to financially support them.”
Victoria, for her part, has denied Sandoval’s allegations and said that she was subject to his alleged abuse throughout their relationship, claiming she is “trying to move on with my life.”
“What’s been reported doesn’t match the allegations set forth in our client’s filings, and we intend to prove that,” her lawyer said in a statement. “Victoria Robinson is not the first woman to find herself in that position, and we intend to make sure her story gets heard.”
Sandoval’s rep reacted by defending the reality star and claiming he was the victim of repeated abuse over the course of their 2-year relationship.
“It’s no surprise that Victoria’s request for a restraining order was immediately denied. The court granted Tom a restraining order and an immediate move-out order against both Victoria and her father. The decision came after Tom presented extensive photographic evidence, along with police reports prepared after officers reviewed all of the video footage from that night, including footage showing Victoria punching Tom in the face,” the rep told Us. “During their two-and-a-half year relationship, Tom has made it clear he never physically harmed Victoria. Instead, he lived in fear of her repeated physical attacks and unpredictable behavior. He will show he was the victim of ongoing physical and emotional abuse, and has substantial evidence documenting what he endured, which will be presented through the legal process.”
