New York Comic Con was business as usual for Smallville lead Tom Welling after his own business was exposed.

“Come say hi,” Welling, 49, wrote via his Instagram Stories on Saturday, October 10, alongside footage of the actor signing merch for fans attending NYCC inside the Javits Center.

In addition to participating in various meet-and-greets, Welling joined his former Smallville costars Erica Durance, Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum to wax nostalgic about the 25th anniversary of the beloved WB series.

“Wow. What a treat. @newyorkcomiccon with my pals,” Rosenbaum, 54, captioned an Instagram selfie of the former costars on the Javits stage.

Hours before their convention appearance, Welling raised eyebrows after he accidentally posted a nude selfie via social media.

“Hello, NYCC,” Welling captioned a Friday, October 9, Instagram Stories post of the skyline, in which the Cheaper by the Dozen star was seen fully nude in the window’s reflection.

Welling quickly deleted the image and has yet to publicly address the incident. Us reached out to the actor for comment at the time.

Instead of focusing on the social media mishaps, Welling is keeping his Smallville memories front and center. (Of course, Welling starred as Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman.)

“I think for Clark, he got to relax and have a little sarcasm and a little bit of fun,” Welling recalled of his character’s romance with Erica Durance’s Lois Lane on a recent episode of the “Inside Of You” podcast. “Before, it was the weight of the world, you know, emotionally, you didn’t get to see that side. That’s what I saw come out in Clark through the Lois relationship.”

In addition to Clark and Lois’ beloved teen romance, Welling also enjoyed the action-packed aspects of the hit series.

“It’s ‘Transference’ when Clark and Lionel switch bodies,” he said, naming his favorite episode. “I don’t know if it’s a perfect episode, but I just remember being like, ‘I got to put my big boy shoes on for this one, like, this is John Glover’s character.’”

Glover, 82, appeared on Smallville as Lionel Luthor, briefly swapping places with Clark during season 4 while in prison.

“I wasn’t supposed to come in until the afternoon at the prison and James Marshall called me. He goes, ‘I need you to come to set.’ It’s, like, 8:30 in the morning,” Welling recalled of the body-swap scene. “I’m like, ‘Of course.’ … And he goes, ‘John Glover needs your help.’”

He further noted that Glover allegedly struggled to master Clark’s stillness.

“John’s in a cell. And I go over to him, [and ask], ‘John, what’s going on?’ And he goes, ‘Tom, how do you do it?’ And I go, ‘What?’ He goes, ‘How do you do nothing? You just stand there,’” Welling quipped. “Obviously, I look up to him as one of the greatest actors I’ll ever be around in my life, and we had a brief conversation. I don’t know if it’s what I said but maybe how I said it that [about] my vibe, and he sort of settled into something. I just remember that being like, ‘This is this is amazing what we’re trying to do here.’”
