Painful. Tori Spelling is suing the chain restaurant Benihana after sustaining burns from one of their hibachi grills, TMZ reports.
According to the site, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum filed a new lawsuit over second and third degree burns she allegedly suffered on her arm when she slipped and fell at one of the chain’s locations in L.A.’s Encino neighborhood back in April.
“It was an unfortunate accident,” Spelling’s husband, Dean McDermott, told the New York Daily News at the time. “She had a little burn… She had to get skin grafts.” Asked whether they were going to press charges, he replied: “I don’t know.”
Later that month, McDermott, 48, gave an update on the mother of four during an interview with Extra. “She’s recovering, doing pretty good,” he said. “At home resting, she’s not here in New York with me.”
The actress, meanwhile, has seemed upbeat in recent Instagram posts. Last month, the family enjoyed a trip to Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. “The kids loved it,” Spelling, 42, captioned an Instagram pic on Aug. 21, “and I even got 2 have a spa day!”
