For Travis Kelce, few “New Heights” moments can top his wife Taylor Swift’s on-air debut.
“Ending the season with Tom Brady? Pretty epic. Starting it with Taylor? Pretty epic,” Kelce, 36, began on the Wednesday, July 8, recording of the season 4 finale episode of his podcast. “During that recording, the entire time I’m planning, like, ‘I’m gonna ask this woman to marry me after this.’”
Swift, 36, appeared on the football podcast in August 2025, where she announced that her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, would be released the following October. Hours after Swift spoke with Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, about her musical career and milestones in her romantic relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis surprised her with an epic peony-filled proposal in his backyard.
Wednesday’s episode, meanwhile, was an interview with NFL great Brady, 48.
“Yeah, those are probably two other really cool moments of this season,” Travis mused. “Obviously, the beginning of it with Taylor is one I’ll remember forever.”
Swift and Travis, who have been together since 2023, ultimately tied the knot on Friday, July 3, in a grand-yet-intimate ceremony inside New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden arena.
“The whole night felt really intimate and personal despite being in an arena and how star-studded the guest list was,” one source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this week. “There were about 1,000 guests there, but it felt intimate.”
Per the insider, Travis and Swift had transformed the venue into an enchanted garden with light peach drapery, coordinating floral arrangements, plenty of greenery and candles set up, as well as framed photos chronicling the duo’s love story.
“They transformed the venue into an elegant and unique wedding experience that reflected both their personalities,” a second source told Us. “It was decorated elegantly, incorporating their down-to-earth style mixed in.”
Saying “I do” in front of approximately 1,000 guests, Swift and Travis each wore bespoke Christian Dior haute couture ensembles.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the bride and groom,” a rep for Swift revealed via press release. “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. [Both of] their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”
Swift has not yet shared photos of her bridal gown, which another source told Us was “incredibly classic and elegant” and featured a lengthy train for the white-veiled occasion.
