Ivanka Trump Was Not Happy About Ted Cruz’s RNC Speech: See Her Reactions!

She’s having none of it! Ivanka Trump was not pleased about Ted Cruz’s speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention on Wednesday, July 20, and the usually coolheaded entrepreneur let her feelings be known.

In a series of widely circulated photos, Ivanka, 34, points angrily at someone just outside the frame and looks as though she’s speaking sternly while Cruz, 45, delivered his speech. In it, the former GOP presidential hopeful urged delegates to “vote with [their] conscience,” seemingly suggesting that they not vote for Ivanka’s father, Donald.

The pictures show the rest of the Trumps — including Ivanka’s siblings Eric and Donald Jr., as well as her half-sister, Tiffany — looking stoic as they listened to Cruz speak.

“What if this, right now, is our last time? Our last moment to do something for our families and our country?” the Texas senator told the crowd in Cleveland while referencing the nation’s recent turmoil. “To those listening, please, don’t stay home in November. If you love our country, and love your children as much as I know you do, stand, and speak, and vote your conscience. Vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

Donald, 70, sat with his family and showed no emotion as the entire stadium erupted in boos as attendees realized Cruz was not going to endorse the business mogul.

The Republican nominee and Cruz have a long history of personal attacks, beginning with their opposing runs for the GOP nomination earlier this year. When a meme of Donald’s wife, Melania, went viral in March, depicting the model nearly nude in an old photoshoot for GQ, Donald accused Cruz of being behind the smear campaign.

In turn, Donald attacked Cruz’s wife, Heidi, by retweeting a split-screen image of the two men’s wives with the words: “No need to ‘spill the beans.’ The images are worth a thousand words.” Heidi looks disheveled in the photo while Melania looks made-up and photogenic.

“I am not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my father,” Cruz said in a press conference on Thursday morning. “I congratulate Donald Trump on winning the nomination last night. And like each of you, I want to see the principles that our party believes prevail in November.”
