Is that what we think it is? Zayn Malik isn’t shy about showing his affection for girlfriend Gigi Hadid, and a recent video has fans speculating that he might have gotten a permanent nod to the supermodel tattooed on his body.
In a short Boomerang clip posted to 22-year-old Hadid’s Instagram on January 12, the former One Directioner bared his chest, which had a giant tattoo that resembled her eyes on full display.
“Birthday boogie 🕺🏻😍🤣 @zayn,” she captioned the post that showed her beau, who turned 25 that same day, dancing. The quick snap sent fans into a tizzy.
“Is it just me or does Zayn look like he got a [new] tattoo, if you look closely they look like Gigi’s eye’s right??!!??” one commenter wrote. “This is your eyes Gigi? @gigihadid.”
“You see those eyes on his chest? It’s Gigi’s,” another added. “He never learns. Lol.”

While some fans tweeted that the tattoo shows “true love,” others showed their admiration by labeling them “couple goals.”

This wouldn’t be the first time the “Pillowtalk” singer has had his love inked on his body. In 2013, Malik added a giant tattoo on his right arm of then-fiancee Perrie Edwards. The couple later split in August 2015 after more than two years together.
As previously reported, Us Weekly broke the news that Hadid and Malik are dating in November 2015. Earlier this month, the supermodel gushed over her love in a sweet Instagram post. “Love this man more than I could ever put into words, & am inspired by his drive to be and do better everyday cheers to YOUR YEAR my @zayn,” she wrote. “Happiest happiest birthday & 25th year of life !! I’m proud to be by your side x”
Earlier this month, Gigi’s famous mom, Yolanda Hadid, opened up to Us Weekly about the adorable duo. “They’re beautiful together and, you know, that’s up to them,” the 53-year-old Making a Model host said of potential wedding bells. “It’s their journey. I’m here to support in whatever their journey is. And you know, they’re still young.”
