Home for the holidays, indeed. Yolanda Foster shared a sweet snapshot of herself snuggled up with her three children — Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid, on Christmas Day, December 25.
“The best thing to hold onto in Life is each other,” she captioned the photo. “Merry Christmas from our family to yours xoxo.”
The cute family portrait features Foster, 51, sitting on a rug before a fireplace, leaning against supermodel daughters Bella, 19, and Gigi, 20, plus son Anwar, 16, huddled close around their mom.
The foursome all wear matching, festive beanies to complete the holiday look.
It’s been an eventful year for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. In early December, Foster and her husband, Grammy-winning music producer David Foster, announced that they were pulling the plug on their four-year marriage.
“I hope that we can pave the road ahead of us with all we’ve learned and with the love and respect we will always have for one another,” she told Us Weekly in a statement.
On Tuesday, December 22, David broke his silence over the headline-making split, saying in a statement that it has been “painful” to watch things get exaggerated or twisted in the press, “especially while trying to cope with the personal nature of the challenges surrounding the breakup of our loving marriage.”
“I have always had and continue to have the utmost respect and love for Yolanda, which is why it is so frustrating to see headlines questioning her chronic debilitating illness,” he continued. Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012. "I have been by Yolanda's side over the past four years to the best of my ability as she battled with the complexities of her Lyme diagnosis."
Earlier in the month, Yolanda took to her Bravo blog to share her hopes for the new year — and her new place, a condo in Los Angeles. (The couple listed their enviable Malibu abode earlier this year.)
“A new week, a new chapter in my life,” she wrote. “Time to get back to my boxes… I know it’s going to be a slow process, but I can’t wait to make this new space feel like a happy home.”
