The video, shared by YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim and uploaded on April 23, 2005, was titled "Me at the zoo." In the 19-second clip, Karim discusses the elephants and their "really, really, really long trunks" displayed in the background. To date, the (rather dry) clip has more than 19.7 million-plus hits.

While Karim appears unenthusiastic in the boring video, his next decade with YouTube would turn out to be an adventurous ride — with a plush payout for him and fellow co-founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen. In 2006, Google bought out YouTube for $1.65 billion.
