90 Day Fiancé season 6 star Flores accidentally posted a nude video of her boyfriend on her Instagram Stories in November 2018. She quickly deleted it and apologized. “I’m so sorry from the bottom of my heart that you had to see that,” she wrote. “It was a huge mistake.”

Kevin Hart’s wife caused a social media firestorm in November 2018 when she posted photos from the couple’s son Kenzo’s first birthday party, which had a “cowboys and Indians” theme. “Zos cowboys & indians party was nothing but amazing!” she captioned a group shot from the bash. Commenters were quick to slam the couple, writing comments including, “Cowboys and Indians? Can you not afford a publicist who would explain the reality [of] such a terrible idea?” and “Hey, let’s play Nazis and Jews for next year’s bday party.”

The “Royals” singer came under fire in April 2018 for posting a photo of a bathtub on Instagram with Whitney Houston lyrics as the caption: “And iiii will always love you.” (The legendary singer died at age 48 in February 2012 after accidentally drowning in a bathtub.) Lorde quickly deleted the post and apologized on her Instagram Story, writing, “Extremely extremely poorly chosen quote. I’m so sorry for offending anyone – I hadn’t even put this together I was just excited to take a bath. I’m an idiot. Love Whitney forever and ever. Sorry again.”

The self-proclaimed Lord accidentally copy-pasted instructions from an advertiser into the caption for a Bootea Instagram post in May 2016. “Here you go, at 4pm est, write the below. Caption: Keeping up with the summer workout routine with my morning @booteauk,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote alongside a photo of himself in the kitchen with the product. He later fixed the caption.

The singer embarrassed herself after her promotional plan for a new single failed on Twitter in October 2014. "Dropping my new song monday if this get 100,000 retweets," she tweeted. The singer later deleted the message after it only got around 2,000 retweets.

The Will & Grace star’s attempt at shedding light on gun violence backfired in June 2016 when she tweeted a selfie in which she was wearing her “Under the Gun” T-shirt as she watched news coverage of the UCLA murder-suicide that day. “HORRENDOUS Watching news about shooting at UCLA with casualties while taking selfie to bring awareness to gun violence,” she tweeted, though she later deleted the message. Messing later explained on Facebook that she was “heartbroken and embarrassed” that she offended followers, and said the tweet was “part of a predetermined day of advocacy whose goal is to bring awareness to gun violence in America.”

Oh, LiLo! The Parent Trap star suffered a Photoshop fail when she attempted to enhance her booty on Instagram in March 2015. “My feet look red lol - had to take that out. Only real red is my hair,” she captioned a pic of herself bending over in a black onesie, while the door frame behind her looked completely warped. “Girl, you cannot be serious with that obvi as hell Photoshop,” one fan commented, while another wrote: “OMG THIS IS EMBAR.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star suffered her own Photoshop fail on Instagram in May 2016 after she posted a mirror selfie of her abs with her thighs altered. Fans were quick to point out the crooked door frame behind her, and she later posted the original photo, explaining that she altered her leg because “everyone comments on how f--ked up my knees look.”

Whoops! In April 2014 screenshots of Franco’s Instagram messages with a 17-year-old fan named Lucy Corde surfaced. In the messages, Franco asked Corde if he should “rent a room,” but the underaged fan denied his invite, telling him maybe next year after she turned 18. "I'm embarrassed, and I guess I'm just a model of how social media is tricky,” he later explained during an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael. “It's the way that people meet each other today, but what I've learned — I guess because I'm new to it — is you don't know who's on the other end."

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star got schooled by Giorgio Armani’s camp on Twitter in June 2015 after she misspelled the designer’s first name. “Why did Georgio Armani discontinue my favorite foundation??? I'm on my last bottle & everyone I know uses this!!! Please make it again!” the social media maven tweeted. Armani’s camp replied: “@KimKardashian Dear Kim - let us know which one you need and we'll send it to you. And Mr. Armani's first name is Giorgio.” Kardashian blamed the spelling error on being “sleep deprived.”

The singer claimed on Twitter in March 2014 that she may have found Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which disappeared on March 8 while en route from Malaysia to Beijing. "I'm no expert but up close this does look like a plane and an oil slick … prayers go out to the families #MH370," she tweeted along with a diagram of where she believed the plane to be. Tomnod later ruled out Love’s possible location for the missing plane’s location, saying that the objects were simply other boats in the region.

In the since-deleted snap, Gunvalson’s stomach and breasts could be seen in the Beats’ package reflection. "I'm a human being and we make mistakes," she explained on Facebook. "I wanted to shout out to Bravo for my Beats while blow drying my hair and getting ready for work. I clearly couldn't see the reflection when I posted the image on Instagram. I apologize to anyone that saw the picture and am deeply embarrassed."
