Fingers crossed! Ultimate A-list couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt told reporters Thursday, May 8, at the London premiere of Maleficent, that, as rumored, they are toying with the idea of collaborating onscreen again.
“We are thinking about it,” Jolie revealed according to the Associated Press. The beautiful dynamic duo, both elegantly dressed in black, walked hand-in-hand at the private event held at Kensington Palace (home of Kate Middleton, Prince William, adorable baby Prince George, and other British royals). Jolie, who was reportedly excited to visit the royal venue, quipped, “I am using it as an excuse to be a tourist.”
Deadline reported last Friday that the couple is teaming up on a new project written by Jolie. The website reported that the potential collaboration is currently in the early talking stages.
It was exactly ten years ago when Jolie and Pitt’s relationship blossomed on the set of their action-packed romantic comedy, Mr. & Mrs. Smith. “You get together and you’re two individuals and you feel inspired by each other, you challenge each other, you complement each other, drive each other beautifully crazy,” Jolie, 38, told Elle magazine in its June 2014 issue of her fiance, 50.
“After all these years, we have history,” she said of her life partner, with whom she shares six kids. “When you have history with somebody, you’re friends in such a very real, deep way that there’s such a comfort, and an ease, and a deep love that comes from having been through quite a lot together.”
Jolie’s latest movie Maleficent co-starring Elle Fanning hits theaters May 30.
