Team Frankie! Ariana Grande made a surprise appearance during Big Brother's double eviction episode in L.A. on Thursday, Aug. 8. The "Bang Bang" singer sat in the audience to support her half-brother Frankie, who's a contestant on this year's season, and even posed for a cute selfie with host Julie Chen.
"Look who is in the live audience tonight cheering on her big brother ON #bigbrother! @ArianaGrande #BB16," Chen tweeted.
21-year-old Grande—who just split from boyfriend Jai Brooks—was on hand in case her half-brother was evicted from the game. Earlier this week, Head of Household Nicole schemed with other house guests to put the YouTube personality on the block for what could have been one of the biggest backdoor moments in BB history.

Donny took himself off after winning POV, leaving Caleb to choose Nicole as his replacement nominee. Hayden was voted out, becoming the second person in the jury house.
Ariana and Frankie's grandfather Frank died earlier this month. Frankie was notified of his passing when producers gave him a letter from his mother. The contestant—who has kept the identity of his famous half-sister hidden—received overwhelming support from his CBS costars.
