Together again! Ariel Winter reunited with her ex-boyfriend Laurent Gaudette for her 18th birthday celebrations. The Modern Family actress and Gaudette, also 18, both shared short videos on Instagram on Thursday, January 28, of the two kissing in a bathroom before heading to a Los Angeles–area Nobu for dinner. He captioned: “Had the pleasure of spending the day with this beautiful and perfect birthday girl. Happy Birthday, love you!”

It seems the couple is back on after a brief split last month. They appeared to have broken up — after two years of dating, including a memorable night at her high school prom — when Winter hinted she was single in several cryptic Instagram posts.
Earlier in the day, Winter was hard at work filming Modern Family, but still celebrated the big birthday with her costars. Her onscreen aunt, Sofía Vergara, posted a pic of Winter blowing out candles on a cake.
Nolan Gould, who plays her little brother Luke Dunphy on the hit show, also took to Instagram to share a snapshot of Winter with the chocolate cake. “We started Modern Family when we were 11 years old. Today, Ariel is now an adult,” he captioned. “It’s been amazing spending these last 7 years together. Happy birthday!!”
The rest of Winter’s costars also sent her sweet birthday messages about how they’ve watched her mature throughout the years.
“Happy Birthday to the beautiful and talented @arielwinter,” Jesse Tyler Ferguson wrote on Instagram. “I can’t believe I’ve watched her grow up before my very eyes. She is one of the smartest, strongest & most inspiring women I know…and she’s only 18! [Heart] you Ariel!”
Sarah Hyland, Winter’s onscreen older sister, also posted: “Happy 18th birthday @arielwinter!!!!! It blows my mind that you’re now the age I was when we first met. Love you little sister.”
Happy birthday to the sweet, adorable and wildly talented @arielwinter1. My promise to have Ed O'Neill crush anyone who hurts you remains. ?
