Ashley Darby revealed that she cleared the air with Kyle Richards after flirting with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.
“It was the elephant in the room between us, and it sort of had to be addressed,” the Real Housewives of Potomac star, 38, exclusively told Us at the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th launch event on Tuesday, August 4, at The Lobster Club in New York City. “I’m so glad I had the opportunity to say it to her face-to-face.”
Ashley shared it was crucial for her to hash things out with Kyle, 57, in person.
“Because it’s one thing to say it on Amazon Live or whatever, but to be able to talk face-to-face is so important,” she added. “And I think we did it.”
Ashley revealed there is no tension with her and Kyle now.
“We were vegans that night. There was no beef,” she quipped.
Earlier this year, Mauricio, 56, made a cameo on RHOP season 10 when he had an unexpected run-in with the cast. During the brief interaction, Ashley made a comment to Mauricio about how he is a single man now. (Mauricio and Kyle separated in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage. The pair have yet to file for divorce.)
Ahead of the episode, Ashley teased her meeting with Mauricio.

“He’s a smooth cat,” Ashley told Us in October 2025. “That guy is very smooth.”
After the episode aired in January, Kyle reacted to Ashley and Mauricio’s interaction.
“We actually talked about this the other day. I don’t know how it was portrayed because I haven’t seen the scenes — I saw something on Watch What Happens Live — but, I mean, if she was flirting, that’s weird,” Kyle said while answering a fan question during an Amazon Live at the time. “I would never — I was talking about this yesterday — be able to date anybody that any of the women, Housewives, dated or were married to.”
She continued, “That’s just weird. I don’t know. I’m like, ‘You’re embarrassing yourself doing that on camera.’ He just bumped into them, by the way.”
Kyle claimed that she got a message from RHOP star Gizelle Bryant to give her a heads-up about the run-in.
“She was like, ‘Just so you know, we just ran into Mauricio and blah, blah, blah,’” she said. “I was like, ‘All good.’ I couldn’t care, you know. Everyone can do what they want. I just thought, ‘That’s embarrassing.’ I don’t know. Like I said, I didn’t really see it though, so I shouldn’t really comment.”
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th premieres on Bravo Sunday, August 9, at 9 p.m. ET and streams on Peacock the next day.
