Higgins is as handsome as ever! Bachelor Ben Higgins — all the way from Denver, Colo. — has packed his bags once more for a chance at love in L.A. The hunky software salesman, 27, is beyond perfection in the first photos for Season 20 of the ABC reality show.
Kaitlyn Bristowe’s second runner-up does away with his comfy go-to knit sweater for a navy suit in one official portrait. He’s surrounded by rose petals — as he should be — and shows off his adorable grin. In a second photo, he dresses down in a gray zip-up.
Us Weekly confirmed in August that Higgins was named the next Bachelor. He previously told Us that he’s not “extremely comfortable with the attention,” but he’s up for the challenge.
“I think it’s a great opportunity,” he told Us in June. “I think it’s something that any man, if asked, should consider. And I’ve been in the process now and I can see that it works.”
“I think opportunities like this don’t happen to people like me,” he added to Good Morning America on Aug. 25. “Last night, when I was flying here, was my first time in a first-class lounge. I had no idea those things existed. I just really want to take the opportunity to do this. I think you can’t pass up on that.”
Higgins is in for plenty more surprises now that he’s the series’ next leading man. In an exclusive E! video, Higgins finds out that twin sisters will both be vying for his heart.
“No way,” he says in the clip. “Group hug?”
Season 20 of The Bachelor premieres on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
