Bachelorette’s Chad Johnson Claims JoJo Fletcher’s Other Men Are ‘Cheating on Their Girlfriends’

Leave it to Chad Johnson to continue to stir the pot. The season 12 Bachelorette villain claimed on Monday, June 27, during an interview with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM radio show, Radio Andy, that many of JoJo Fletcher’s suitors aren’t there for the right reasons.

The luxury real-estate agent, who is best known as “Bad Chad,” explained that he posted that infamous Instagram post on June 20 of himself kissing contestant Robby Hayes’ ex-girlfriend Hope Higginbotham to prove a point.

“The main goal with that was to show you’ve got all these guys on the show and they’re acting all nice and like they’re such good guys when at the end of the day, they’re cheating on their girlfriends, half of them broke up with girlfriends to go on the show,” Johnson claimed. “How can they be good guys? I wouldn’t do that. I’m the only one with an actual real reason for coming on the show to meet somebody.”

In case you missed it, Johnson gushed over Hayes’ ex in the surprising shot’s caption. “Let me just say, she is even more beautiful in person! A great girl like her deserves so much better than someone who lies, cheats, and ends a four year long relationship in order to pursue fame on a tv show. You’re amazing, I miss you already,” he wrote, insinuating that Hayes is on the show for the wrong reasons.

Whether his intentions with Higginbotham are genuine or not — Johnson told Cohen that they’re still in communication but that it was just a fun weekend — Johnson added that the show is, after all, a competition.

“I think the No. 1 thing so far is that people just think I’m this violent crazy person who hurts women or something like that,” he told the Bravo personality. “It’s a competition. … I’m going to do what I have to do. I treat my women very well. That’s my thing, like yeah, I’m willing to do what I gotta do to get what I want when it comes to competition, but I’m very nice to my girls.”
