Downward dog for the win? As fans of The Bachelor continue to twist in the wind over which one of JoJo Fletcher’s former suitors might lead season 21 of the ABC dating series, franchise creator Mike Fleiss appears to have dropped a subtle hint that could make Chase McNary’s supporters quite happy.
Fleiss tweeted on Wednesday, August 3, that his followers should tune in that night to his new TLC dating show, Love at First Kiss, and he provided a Bachelor-related incentive.
“There’s a clue as to who will be our new Bachelor on tonite’s premiere of our new show #LoveAtFirstKiss on TLC!!!” the producer tweeted.
When the episode aired, fans were left a bit baffled as to what exactly Fleiss might have been referring to, given that there was no clear reference to The Bachelor.
However, some fans speculated online that the perceived hint at the next Bachelor was in the promo for next week’s episode, which featured a brief clip of a couple on a yoga date. Indeed, McNary, 27, and season 12 Bachelorette Fletcher, 25, went on a sexy yoga outing of their own on the June 6 episode, meaning perhaps Fleiss wanted viewers to know that the Colorado-based medical sales rep could be the next guy to hand out roses.

Then again, perhaps this was all much ado about nothing. After the Love at First Kiss premiere finished airing, Fleiss tweeted an apparent mea culpa: “Ok, I’ll admit it. The clue was pretty subtle… #LoveAtFirstKiss”
McNary was Fletcher’s second runner-up, and both he and fourth-place finisher Luke Pell have expressed interest in landing the Bachelor gig. (Fletcher accepted Jordan Rodgers’ proposal in the Monday, August 1, finale, leaving runner-up Robby Hayes brokenhearted.)
