Some members of Bachelor Nation apparently don’t need TV producers to pair them up. Bachelor in Paradise alum Lacy Faddoul tweeted on Wednesday, October 12, that she had recently matched on dating app Bumble with none other than The Bachelorette season 8 winner Jef Holm.
Faddoul, who recently endured an acrimonious split from Bachelor in Paradise season 1 paramour Marcus Grodd, posted an image to Twitter of her messages to Holm after they matched.
“When you match with a #bacheloralum #noshame #datingapps,” she tweeted. She added the screen grab that shows the pair having connected on the app, along with her laughing about it to him, and then her writing “Marco,” an apparent reference to his radio silence. Holm — who got engaged to Emily Maynard in 2012’s season 8 finale before their romance fizzled — still had yet to reply to Faddoul when she posted the image. (Her tweet was later deleted.)
Viewers were introduced to Faddoul during her brief stint competing for Juan Pablo Galavis‘ affections on The Bachelor season 18. The elder-care facilities entrepreneur then sparked up a romance with Grodd on Paradise in 2014, and season 1 ended with her accepting the former soccer player’s marriage proposal.
The pair tied the knot in Mexico on the season 2 premiere that aired in August 2015, but their relationship quickly went south. The marriage was never made legal, and Grodd told Us Weekly exclusively in July that things got contentious between them in early 2016 and that they hadn’t spoken since March. “I definitely feel played,” Grodd told Us.
Neither Faddoul nor Holm replied to requests for comment.
