Thousands of fans lined up to catch a glimpse of the superheroes in action! Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and the rest of the film’s stars came out for the NYC premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, March 20. Us Weekly has an exclusive look at the red carpet and afterparty.
Staff reporter Travis Cronin caught up with Wonder Woman Gal Gadot about when she feels like a real-life superhero. “I feel it in small moments with my daughter [Alma, 4], with my husband [Yaron Versano], with my family,” Gadot tells Us.
Affleck also revealed a fun family moment to Us Weekly: an encounter with former Batman actor Christian Bale during an outing with his kids. “I ran into him at a costume shop when we were both buying costumes for our kids and we talked,” he said. His best piece of advice? “Make sure they put a zipper in the suit!”
After the screening, the stars headed to Guastavino’s restaurant, which was set up to look like LexCorp, villain Lex Luthor’s fictional company, and decorated with life-size wax figures of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Cavill, Adams, Diane Lane and Jesse Eisenberg enjoyed the sophisticated cocktail party, and guests sipped on cocktails made with Bai Superteas. Affleck was the center of attention all night and took tons of fan photos when he wasn’t chatting with his costars.
