Teen Mom OG’s Catelynn Lowell Cries After Daughter Carly’s Adoptive Parents Deny Her a Visit

An emotional realization. Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell broke down after her daughter Carly’s adoptive parents denied her and husband Tyler Baltierra a visit.

In a preview clip from the upcoming Monday, October 31, episode, Lowell and Baltierra, both 24, are meeting with adoption counselor Dawn at a small cafe, and the threesome initially start off their conversation in a positive way, with warm hugs and small talk.

Not long afterward, however, Lowell looks visibly frustrated as she continues to interrupt Dawn while she’s trying to speak. According to the reality star, she had been texting with daughter Carly’s adoptive parents, but was getting completely blocked off.

“It was just about the visit stuff,” Lowell tells Dawn of the texts she’s been sending Carly’s adoptive parents. “I just want to talk to her physically on the phone and just say, even if we come up there, even if we come up to you guys, it’s just for a day and brunch the next morning.”

A sympathetic Dawn then pulls out a set of documents, which show that Lowell and Baltierra had both signed away their rights to “ongoing face-to-face” visits. What the agreement is, instead, is that Lowell and Baltierra, as birth parents, can request to see Carly, but ultimately it’s up to Carly’s adoptive parents to say yes or no.

Lowell tears up at this realization. “It’s just f‑‑king frustrating because I was 16 years old when I made this f‑‑king decision,” she finally says.
