The critics have spoken! On Wednesday, May 6, the Broadcast Television Journalists Association revealed its nominees for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, honoring comedies and dramas across several major networks.
In addition to already-established shows like The Good Wife and Game of Thrones, the list includes newer series like Jane the Virgin, Togetherness, and Empire, all of which are in their freshman seasons. There are also nods for Fresh Off the Boat, Transparent, Inside Amy Schumer, and Orange Is the New Black, among others.
Notably, HBO scored the most nominations of any network — 27 — thanks in part to the Frances McDormand-starring miniseries Olive Kitteridge and hits like Girls, Silicon Valley, Nightingale, and The Casual Vacancy. FX came in second, with 17 nominations.
