Curtis Stone’s 5 Reasons to Watch Top Chef Masters

Miss last week's big premiere of Top Chef Masters?

The Bravo hit's host, Curtis Stone, stopped by UsMagazine.com's New York City offices April 5 to offer five reasons to tune in to Wednesday's second episode.

Mad Men's Christina Hendricks makes an appearance on episode two, and Stone, 35, says he was quite impressed by her culinary knowledge and appreciation for the series.

"We have got ridiculous celebrities joining us this season," the Aussie chef tells Us in the above clip. "Christina and her husband came on and wanted to do [serve] '60s food, since that's what Christina's always around — and they wanted to do it in bite-sized pieces. Christina hosted an incredible dinner for all her friends, it was great!"

As for this season's crop of cheftestants, who are competing to earn $100,000 for charity? Stone tells Us the competition's never been more fierce.

"The pressure is much more intense," the host says. "It's very interesting to watch master chefs compete like that, because they go from owning six restaurants to being someone's chef on one section. The one underlying factor is how much pressure is on these guys when they have to cook."

Top Chef Masters airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. (EST) on Bravo.
