The interview is set to air on May 17 and will focus on Trump’s campaign, along with the pair’s tension following the debate. At the event last year, the polarizing front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination took issue with the comoderator’s question about his previous comments about women.

The real estate mogul, 69, went on to insult Kelly, 45, in later interviews, saying that she “bombed” and owed him an apology. Kelly, for her part, refused to back down about her line of questioning.

The Kelly File host said in a statement about the upcoming interview, “Mr. Trump and I sat down together for a meeting earlier this month at my request. He was gracious with his time, and I asked him to consider an interview. I am happy to announce he has agreed, and I look forward to a fascinating exchange — our first sit-down interview together in nearly a year.”
