Casting switch-up! A day after Brooke Burke-Charvet was fired from ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, the network has found an appropriate replacement. Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews is set to take over as Tom Bergeron‘s co-host for season 18 of the hit competition series, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

“The paperwork is being finalized but it is happening,” the source tells Us.

The seasoned journalist competed on season 10 of the show with dance pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Burke-Charvet was fired from the show after eight seasons as a co-host, and executive producerConrad Green confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Feb. 22, saying in a statement, “We can confirm that Brooke Burke-Charvet will not be joining us next season. She’s been a wonderful part of the Dancing with the Stars family since her triumphant win in season seven and will unquestionably be missed by our entire team. We’d like to thank Brooke for her years of great service.”

This news comes right after the reality series fired longtime music director Harold Wheeler and the 28 members of his live band.
