In 2001, Burke married celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher. Together the couple have two daughters: Neriah and Sierra Sky. The couple divorced in 2005.
In August 2006, Burke announced her engagement to actor David Charvet. The couple have two children together: Heaven Rain and Shaya Braven. They tied the knot in August 2011 but filed for divorce six years later in April 2018.
Burke is also an entrepreneur, launching her own online store geared toward expectant mothers and parents. She is also the CEO of ModernMom.com and runs Brooke Burke Body.
In 2008, she competed alongside Derek Hough on Dancing with the Stars, which they eventually won. In March 2010, she returned to the show, but not as a dancer: Burke was briefly the replacement for former host Samantha Harris.
