Eternally Yours is turning the horror up a notch for a Halloween episode with werewolves — and “extreme danger.”
In Us‘ exclusive clip from the Thursday, October 29, episode of the CBS comedy, Max (Jaren Lewison) alerts the coven that “someone stole all the candy.” Jesse (Parker Young) and Emma (Helen J. Shen) are too worried about Mort’s (Tristan Michael Brown) crush, who they think is pranking him by asking him on a date.
Max, however, mentions that the candy was in an “old goblet” with a wolf’s paw on it. The others then realize Max put out an ancient relic — a wolfsbane chalice — that was meant to protect them from werewolves.
Unfortunately, with the goblet missing, the coven is “vulnerable to a werewolf attack,” which is an increased risk on Halloween. Emma hints that the group is in “extreme danger” before Mort’s crush shows up at the house in a werewolf costume (or as a real werewolf pretending to be in costume for Halloween).
From Ghosts showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, Eternally Yours follows vampires Charles (Ed Weeks) and Liz (Allegra Edwards), whose marriage of 500 years has become monotonous.
“They live in present-day Seattle among an eccentric coven until their daughter Emma brings home Max, her human boyfriend, whose arrival disrupts the household and forces the couple to reckon with the prospect of an eternity together,” the synopsis teases about the rest of the season.

The new series, which also stars Rose Abdoo, started off on a high when Max was introduced as a human but ended the pilot as a vampire.
“There’s so much to learn, right? I think that Max is really overwhelmed,” Lewison, 25, exclusively told Us earlier this month. “I know that it’s hard for Emma, of course, at times, because he’s asking so many questions.”
He continued: “There’s so much lore that he needs to get caught up on and he doesn’t understand why certain things have to be one way and certain things happen a different way.”
The actor promised even more obstacles are coming. “Maybe during Halloween something might be happening there,” he teased. “There’s a lot going on and it puts some stress sometimes on Emma and Max’s relationship, so they have to figure out how to work through that and communicate.”
Eternally Yours airs on CBS Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Paramount+.
