Can any couple top Finchel? As we throw up some jazz hands and down a red slushee in honor of the series finale of Fox’s Glee, it’s time to look back on the show’s best pairings. No, we’re not talking about duets, but rather the best couples to ever grace the halls of McKinley High.

Sure, after six seasons everyone in the New Directions pretty much has dated everyone else (umm anyone remember Quinn and Santana’s prom night hookup?), but there are four main couples that stand out in our minds.

At the March 13 PaleyFest panel in Hollywood, celebrating the final season of the show, some acapella standouts cast their votes for their favorite Glee couple. Chord Overstreet (Sam “Trouty Mouth” Evans) told Us, “I think the pairing that I just really always loved watching because they are two of my favorite people was Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel (Lea Michele). I think it was the character, Rachel — Lea kind of added, like, her crazy personality and her obsession with this popular guy. And the fact that he liked this girl that wasn't seen as technically popular and kind of stayed true to the underdog story of what the show kind of was.”

It’s true, we never stopped believing in Finchel, and the late Monteith’s romance with Michele in real life made their story line even more bittersweet. The actor passed away from a lethal overdose of heroin and alcohol in July 2013.

But one couple broke new ground, changing perspectives and opening hearts around the country: Klaine.

When Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) first admitted to crushing on the cute Warbler Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss), fans leapt for joy. They attended prom, got engaged, broke off the engagement, and eventually got married in a barn with their closest friends by their side. Is it possible to top these two?

“Were they the ultimate Glee couple? That depends on who you ask,” Criss diplomatically told Us. “Because I was in it! With Chris!”

And though Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron) and Noah “Puck” Puckerman (Mark Salling) didn’t quite make the headlines that some of the other pairings managed (and their shipper name “Quick” wasn’t the best), these two were clearly a good fit from the beginning.

“Quinn, of course,” Salling said of his best onscreen love. “We had a good chemistry. I really liked working with Dianna. We had such a good chemistry. I think we worked well together. And I liked the fact that we had a child together on the show. That was a really important experience.”

Against all odds another set of star-crossed lovers — Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris) and Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) — made it to the altar (one in a fabulous white jumpsuit) to say their vows in front of family, friends, and Sue Sylvester.

Now it’s up to you, dear shippers. Vote for Glee’s best couple of all time! And if your favorites aren’t featured in the poll, feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments. We’re still reeling over Sam and Mercedes, Artie and Tina, Artie and Brittany, Tina and Mike, Puck and Rachel (aka Puckelberry), and is anyone secretly into Mr. Schuester and Sue? Ok, maybe just Us!

Glee’s series finale airs Friday, March 20 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
