Oprah Winfrey sure is proud of her massive Montecito, Calif., mansion!
In a segment airing Tuesday on pal Nate Berkus' talk show, Winfrey, 57, takes the designer, 39, on a guided tour and Us Weekly has a sneak peek.
"I wanted it to be intimate and to feel like a hug," Winfrey tells Berkus of her property's tea house (yes, house!), featuring rustic wooden accents and green wicker furniture. "So there's no bathroom here. If you've got to pee, you've got to go outside to the outhouse."
Rather than offer visitors to her $50 million, 14,000-square-foot manse all the amenities in her tea house, the talk show host (who'll wrap her series May 25) opts to keep the environment serene.
"You don't even want to be here in this small space and hear somebody else flushing the toilet," she says with a laugh. "I can turn the fountain on so you hear the sound of water, but not of flushing toilets. You don't want to hear that!"
Winfrey's "House Proud" segment will air Tuesday on The Nate Berkus Show (check local listings).
