Gwen Stefani Giggles When Asked How Blake Shelton ‘Popped the Big Question’

Are Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton getting married?! Not so fast. The No Doubt frontwoman was asked recently how the country superstar "popped the big question" — but it had nothing to do with a wedding.

The "Make Me Like You" singer fielded the question during The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, February 25.

"When he popped the big question about you being his mentor [on The Voice] — how did he do that?" DeGeneres, 58, asked, amused by her own play on words.

"Did you rehearse that before?" Stefani, 46, replied, laughing. "I want to be on that show as much as possible.… I got so much out of it."

"You did!" DeGeneres chimed in, no doubt alluding to the singer's romance with Shelton.

"Oh, my God! You're so good. You're so good at your job," the mom of Kingston, Apollo and Zuma quipped.

Us Weekly exclusively revealed last month that Stefani — who was a coach this past year — will team up with Shelton, 39, in season 10. Us also broke the news last November that Stefani and Shelton were dating following their divorces from Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, respectively.

Stefani has been keeping busy since going public with their romance. She finished her new solo album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, in just a few weeks and recently filmed a live music video for her new song, "Make Me Like You" (which is written about Shelton), during a Grammys commercial break.

"I do get nervous, especially TV. There was something about that time that I sort of wasn't [though]," Stefani explained to DeGeneres. "I was in constant prayer for three days straight because I was like, 'How am I going to do this?'"
