The Donald or the Hillary? On Wednesday, Sept. 16, presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She opened the show with a funny sketch in which SNL alum Fallon, 40, impersonated Clinton’s adversary Donald Trump calling her on the phone to give her some pointers.
When the topic of immigration came up, the former Secretary of State, 67, implored Fallon (as Trump), “Do you have any idea what it’s like to work so hard for something, to be so close to getting it, and then someone pops out of nowhere and tries to take it all away?”
“Are you talking about Bernie Sanders?” Fallon quipped, nodding to Clinton’s rival candidate from the Democrat party.
Later in the episode, the former First Lady had some more fun at Trump’s expense. When Fallon noted that the mogul had insulted her on Twitter for using a teleprompter, Clinton replied, “I have used them from time to time. I learned that from watching how successful President Obama was because he knows what he wants to say and he really is intent on delivering it.”
“But I could go more stream of consciousness,” she offered, transitioning into a Trump impersonation, saying, “Ya know, this is a huge election! Ya never know what might happen. Let’s get rid of the people who don’t agree with us and only talk to the people that do.”
But Clinton did have some nice things to say about the real estate mogul, who faced off against his fellow GOP candidates in a debate that same night.
“He’s making the most out of it. I’m having a good time watching it,” she admitted, grinning.
