Teen Mom’s Briana DeJesus and Jenelle Evans are experiencing a friendship breakup for all of social media to see.
After TMZ reported that Evans, 34, will be moving from Las Vegas to Florida, DeJesus, 32, reacted to her former costar finding a place in her home state.
“Everyone keeps telling me this lol,” DeJesus wrote via Snapchat on Thursday, May 28. “I know she was looking at places here but ended up in Vegas. I wish her and the kids the best but respectfully, I gotta stay away.”
After seeing the post, Evans decided to text her one-time friend and question her public comment.
“I don’t understand your problem to be such a bitch,” Evans wrote in a text message shared via her Instagram Story. “What exactly did I do to you?”
DeJesus replied, “Jenelle, don’t start lol. It’s not that I don’t like u…we also weren’t best friends???? I never said anything in that screen that was bad??? I rather stay away after the news of Jace and David. It’s really that simple.”
Ultimately, Evans didn’t appear impressed with her friend’s behavior and fired back both via text and online.
“Don’t say we were friends but you’re toxic AF,” she wrote in a followup text. “Don’t use me for views anymore, don’t f***ing mention my name ever again.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Evans and DeJesus for additional comment.
Although the Teen Mom franchise hasn’t aired a new episode since the middle of 2025, Evans has continued to make headlines for her reality away from the cameras.
Despite their divorce being finalized in July 2025, Evans has been spotted hanging out with David Eason on multiple occasions. (She insists they are not back together and simply coparenting their 9-year-old daughter, Ensley.)
Evans also raised eyebrows when her 16-year-old son, Jace — whom she shares with ex Andrew Lewis — was reportedly placed in a mental health facility after allegedly pulling a gun on a family member.
Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, filed for emergency custody of Jace after the incident but was denied. In May, Jenelle said she and Jace were “working on ourselves.”
One relationship that doesn’t appear to be working out well is Jenelle’s friendship with DeJesus. In a lengthy Facebook post, Jenelle further explained why she was so hurt by her costar.
“I’m always the nicest person in the world until you cross that line with me. One minute you’re texting me acting like a friend, next you post something completely opposite against me,” Jenelle wrote via Facebook on Friday, May 29. “Everyone ‘hates’ me but has no real reason because I keep to myself. They just throw around name-calling like it’s factual. It hurts personally I was blind sided by this behavior to begin with. It’s hard for me to trust people as it is and for my ‘co-workers’ to act like they know me enough to comment on my life but claim we ‘were never friends’ is contradicting.”
The former Teen Mom star added, “Just remember Bri, when everyone hated you joined Teen Mom 2 I was the ONLY one there for you being nice and treating you fairly. I’m sorry, but from these texts I thought we were friends. Now once again she’s using me for clout to make money off her Snapchat with my name and bragging about it.”
