Dancing With the Stars pro Jan Ravnik is opening up about why he’s not participating in the live tour.
“That’s not in my stars,” Ravnik, 31, exclusively told Us after the Tuesday, October 6, Mariah Carey Night episode.
Ravnik, who performed a jazz routine to “Fantasy” with partner Tatyana Ali, added that he’s “busy with stuff.” (The show ultimately said goodbye to Summer House’s Ciara Miller and partner Brandon Armstrong after the pair earned a combined score of 21 out of 30 from the judges.)
“We’ll see,” he continued. “We have incredible dancers who are going on tour.”
During Tuesday’s episode, Emma Slater shared details about the upcoming tour — including the roster of pros: Brandon Armstrong, Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Hailey Bills, Sharna Burgess, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Ezra Sosa, Adele Zaikman and Britt Stewart, as well as troupe dancers Kamri Peterson, Onye Stevenson, Jaxon Willard and Carter Williams.
“After a fully sold-out tour, these are the pros who will be joining me when we hit the road in an all-new show directed by the incredible Mandy Moore,” Slater, 37, revealed. “And this time, the troupe is joining us!”
Presale for the tour starts Thursday, October 8, with all tickets on sale October 13 via the tour’s website. The live tour is set to make a stop in 60 cities across North America before concluding in April.
Ravnik wasn’t the only pro noticeably missing from the roster. Also absent were Mark Ballas, Witney Carson and married couple Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov — who shared that they were taking a hiatus to prioritize their family.
“We’re probably going to be in and out,” Karagach, 33, exclusively told Us on Tuesday. “We just want to take this time to truly just enjoy our family.”
Karagach explained that she and Pashkov, 40, “haven’t had a moment” to focus on themselves and their daughter, Nikita, 3, adding, “She has been on three tours. We haven’t had a break, and I think this is the time to just inhale each other and go for a vacation in December or something.”
Karagach, however, is open to making stops along the way. “[We could] pop in and out because I think we should do some of the stuff. That’d be fun,” she teased. “We’ll do a few weeks here and there.”
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
