Is there a woman in Hollywood Jared Leto can't charm? The Dallas Buyers Club star and Best Supporting Actor winner, 42, casually hijacked fellow nominee June Squibb's interview with Ryan Seacrest at the 2014 Oscars on Sunday, March 2, to break the news that he and the Nebraska actress, 84, are a couple.
"Let's put the rumors to rest: We are indeed dating," Leto quipped as he draped an affectionate arm around Squibb, whom he met at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in early February. "It's great!" he continued. "I have been having fun. I hope she is, too."
"Oh, I'm having a wonderful time," Squibb, in green Tadashi Shoji, teased back. "Our evening in Santa Barbara was great."
Leto has been quite the ladies' man this awards season. At the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, March 1, he jokingly thanked his "future ex-wife" Lupita Nyong'o while accepting the Best Supporting Male trophy. "Lupita, I'm thinking about you, baby," he said.
The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman also had a flirtatious encounter with Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke at the Screen Actors Guild Awards back in January. "I haven't seen your show, but I know people are obsessed with it and say it's absolutely amazing," he told Clarke. Then, as she turned to go, he pulled her closer and said he wasn't done with her yet.
"I haven't finished here. There's work yet to be done," he quipped, fixing a sexy gaze on the HBO actress. "Have you looked into her eyes?" he asked Giuliana Rancic. "I mean, they're absolutely insane."
