Another Duggar proposal is about to join the ranks! Counting On‘s Tuesday, October 4, episode features Jill and Jessa Duggar reliving the moments when they each got engaged, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
Viewers see flashbacks to Ben Seewald proposing to Jessa in August 2014, and Derick Dillard popping the question to Jill in April 2014. (Jessa, 23, wed Seewald, 21, in November 2014, and they are raising 10-month-old son Spurgeon with another baby on the way; Jill, 25, married Dillard, 27, in June 2014, and they have 17-month-old son Israel.)
“Jill and I’s courtship was long-distance, like Jeremy and Jinger’s — for us, we wanted to have time [to spend] together before we got engaged,” Dillard tells the camera in the clip. “So we waited a month of consistent time together physically getting to know each other before I asked her to marry me.”
Jessa adds, “Jill and Derick’s relationship, I think it was like three months courting and three months engaged, and then they were married. And so, who knows! It might be even faster than that for Jinger and Jeremy.”
On last week’s episode, Jinger headed to New York City to meet her beau, who had previously purchased an engagement ring. (As fans know, Jinger, 22, and Vuolo, 29, got engaged in July after their brief courtship.)
