Not rude at all! Jodie Sweetin‘s Full House costars Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) pay her a visit in Dancing With the Stars‘ Monday, April 4, episode, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
In the clip, Coulier — who appears with both Sweetin, 34, and Barber, 39, in Netflix’s revival series Fuller House — mentions he knew at the first table read for Full House years ago that Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) would be a star. He also sings her praises for overcoming her previous battle with substance abuse.
“When you see somebody that you truly love go through a difficult time and come out the other side of it and do so well, it’s kind of like the gates [of heaven] open,” the actor, 56, tells the camera. “It’s just a great feeling!”
Barber adds, “If you saw her ‘Motownphilly’ dance on Full House back in the day, you know that that girl has just got dancing in her genes. She was born to be on camera, she was born to be out on that dance floor and I’m so excited for her to be on this show.”
Sweetin’s fancy footwork continues to improve as she heads into Monday’s episode. She and partner Keo Motsepe earned a 21 last week for their samba, following a 20 for their tango in the season 22 premiere on March 21.
