Watch out, Amber Heard — Jimmy Kimmel is still coming for your man! Johnny Depp and the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host shared yet another smooch on Monday, April 7, after Kimmel claimed he was heartbroken over the Transcendence star's recent engagement news.
"I hate to start things off negatively or awkwardly," Kimmel said, "but last time you were here [in July 2013] we kissed a few times, I felt like we really hit it off. We had a few laughs together. It really seemed like we had some chemistry, and then the next thing I know I hear you are engaged."
"I feel bad about it," Depp, 50, said while mysteriously rubbing his lips with a bubble gum-flavored balm. "But I feel between you and I, it's an 'anything goes' kind of thing. You know what I mean?"
Kimmel, who just got married to Molly McNearney last July, added to the Rum Diary star that he wanted to crash the party after the wedding, too. "I would love to go on the honeymoon with you. That'd be a really terrific thing for [Amber]… for all of us!"
With his signature mysterious smirk, Depp responded, "I'll ask around."
The star went on to discuss his kids — daughter Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11 — whom he shares with ex Vanessa Paradis. "They've got some mischief in there," said Depp, who also expressed his disdain for packing. "I have an aversion to packing or unpacking. I have suits and bags still unpacked from Edward Scissorhands [from 1990].
In the final moments of his appearance, Kimmel finally got what he anticipated all along: Depp leaned over and gave the show host a tiny peck on the lips. With a grin and a laugh, Kimmel motioned to his guest and plugged Transcendence, which hits theaters April 18.
