On his official blog, Kanye West has issued an apology – in all caps – to Taylor Swift for ambushing her Best Female Video acceptance speech at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.

"I'M SOOOOO SORRY" he began.

Although West, 32, wrote that he apologized to Swift's mother, a source tells Usmagazine.com, "No, not true."

On his blog, West went on to say that he was "in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment."

The rapper – who was drinking Hennessy on the red carpet – added that "Beyonce's video was the best of this decade . . . I'm sorry to my fans if I let you guys down . . . I'm sorry to my friends at MTV . . . I will apologize to Taylor."

Before signing off, he wrote, "I really feel bad for Taylor and I am sincerely sorry."
Oddly, the apology was missing from his blog as of Monday morning.

After the show, Swift, 19, told reporters she had no ill-will toward the rapper, of whom she was once a fan.

"I don't want to start anything because I had a great night tonight," she said.
