Katie Holmes only cared about Beyoncé's halftime show performance during Super Bowl 50 over the weekend. The Ray Donovan actress revealed during The Tonight Show on Tuesday, February 9, that she ran over to her neighbor's apartment to snag a front-row seat in between spending time with her daughter, Suri, 9.
"This year I was doing a cooking class with my child," Holmes, 37, told late-night host Jimmy Fallon. "Then we went to the museum. And then right before the halftime show, I knocked on my friend's apartment and was like, 'Let me in! Let me in! Let me in!' Because I knew Beyoncé was about to come on."
The Dawson's Creek alum didn't just watch Queen Bey dominate with headliner Coldplay and fellow special guest Bruno Mars, though. She also danced along to the singer's "Formation" routine.
"And then we all stood in front of my friend's TV in her apartment and were like, 'Oh, my God, she did not! Oh, my God!'" she told Fallon. "We were excited and joined in as if we were a part of it. Then we cheered."
Of course, Fallon and the Roots couldn't let Holmes leave without showing off her Beyoncé moves for the live audience. After some hesitation, the star shook her hips and pretended to whip her hair back and forth (her locks were in a tight bun).
Holmes also let loose later in the show. She really, really got into a game of Musical Beers with Deadpool hunk Ryan Reynolds.
