Remember back in June when Jon Snow (and his head of deliciously curly hair) was lying in a puddle of his own blood? It wasn’t fun. Then director David Nutter bluntly declared, “Jon Snow is dead,” and Kit Harington himself noted, “I’ve been told I’m dead. I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season.” All we could do was weep into our pet direwolves’ fur.
But those tricksters at HBO and the far-too-laidback author George R.R. Martin seemingly have a new twist up their wizards sleeves. Actor Harington, 28, was spotted alive and well, casually strolling around Belfast, Northern Ireland, on Tuesday, July 21.
Turns out, Season 6 of the hit fantasy series has begun filming in Belfast, and Harington (plus his on-point man bun) have been photographed walking around town.
The Watchers on the Wall fan Twitter account shared a picture of Harington seemingly at the airport before he was photographed walking around town with his costar Ben Crompton (Eddison Tollett).

There are plenty of fan theories as to how Snow might return to the show (either alive or dead), including one where he turns into a Targaryen. But the evidence from Harington’s recent jaunt to Northern Ireland seems to clearly point to his return for Season 6.
