He might want to keep his day job. Funnyman Kunal Nayyar, who is best known for playing nerdy scientist Raj Koothrappali on the smash hit The Big Bang Theory, showed a different side of himself during an appearance on The Queen Latifah Show on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Though his famed character is known for having lady problems, Nayyar gave off an air of suave confidence as he sang a karaoke rendition of the Boyz II Men hit “I’ll Make Love to You” to the ladies in the audience.
Carrying a large bouquet of red roses, the comedy star, 33, jokingly brushed audience members’ faces with the flowers while singing the R&B tune.
Nayyar’s performance would have been described as “pitchy” by Randy Jackson in his American Idol judge days, but Latifah and her viewers ate it up, giving the CBS star a standing ovation.
