Lauren Conrad may have walked away from the drama on The Hills, but that didn't stop her from taking part in a dramatic reading of her new book, Sweet Little Lies, with Tyra Banks.
While visiting The Tyra Show (in an episode airing Tuesday), the reality-star-turned-author, 24, flipped to a page in her second young-adult novel and began reading.
"'Jessie, give me your keys. You can't drive right now. You're too drunk,' she said firmly," Conrad read.
Banks then took a turn at reading, and Conrad was more than a little surprised at her interpretation. (Watch clip above.)
Her new book — a follow-up to her New York Times bestselling first novel, L.A. Candy — just reached the top of the New York Times Best-Seller List again in the Children's Chapter Books category after only being on bookshelves for less than a month.
