Love Is Blind’s Alexa Lemieux is ready to open up about her decision to get a divorce from estranged husband Brennon Lemieux after four years of marriage.
“I had asked for it,” Alexa, 31, shared in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Thursday, May 21, episode of the “He Said, G Said” podcast. “It wasn’t because there was a lack of love on my part. I just couldn’t do it anymore. I was tired.”
Brennon, 35, and Alexa got married in June 2021 during Love Is Blind season 3, which aired on Netflix the next year. The pair later welcomed daughter Vienna in July 2024.
When speaking with podcast cohosts Blake Horstmann and Love Is Blind alum Giannina Milady Gibelli, Alexa claimed the split was mutual.
“My main thing was I just wanted my daughter to see what love looks like, and that wasn’t it,” she explained. “It would be my biggest failure as a mom for that to be what she thought it was.”
Alexa proceeded to get emotional when she recalled reading a quote online that struck her right in the heart.
“It sounds so stupid, but I saw something on TikTok and it was like, ‘If your daughter was in the relationship that you’re in, would you be proud or would you be disappointed?’” she said while trying to hold back tears. “I would have been really disappointed. That would have broken my heart. That was my answer, so why do I deserve this then?”

Alexa and Brennon first announced in December 2025 that they had split after four years of marriage.
At the time, the pair said the decision “comes with a great deal of care, respect and appreciation for the time we’ve shared.”
That same month, Us confirmed that Brennon previously filed for divorce and claimed the marriage had “become insupportable” due to “conflict of personalities” that prevent any “reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”
Before there were any relationship struggles, Love Is Blind fans watched Alexa and Brennon form an instant connection after sharing a few pod dates together.
During Brennon’s proposal to Alexa, he told her that he was “so obsessed” and “in love” with her.
“I want to spend every day of my life trying to make you happy in any way I can,” he shared at the time.
New episodes of the “He Said, G Said” podcast are released every Thursday on YouTube or wherever you stream podcasts.
