Even before Love Island USA alum JaNa Craig was tapped to join The Traitors season 6, she was thinking about her castle strategy.
“A lot of people keep asking me to do Traitors. [Can] you guys imagine me?” JaNa, 29, exclusively told Us at T-Mobile’s Club Magenta at Lollapalooza in August. “I feel, like, now that Rob [Rausch] literally set the bar way too high, any other Islander that gets on the show, they are not gonna think that we’re a Traitor.”
JaNa and Rob, 27, met in the Love Island USA season 6 villa. While neither took home the cash prize, Rob went on to appear on The Traitors season 4, where he was tapped as one of the nefarious band of Traitors. Not only was Rob a now-legendary Traitor, but he also won the entire jackpot. (Rob betrayed finalist and Love Island UK alum, Maura Higgins, to clinch the entire $220,800 prize for himself. He made it up to Maura, 35, by gifting her a brand-new burgundy Birkin bag with gold hardware — honoring her exact retail request.)
“I blame Rob for that, so we’re kind of screwed regardless,” JaNa quipped to Us. “If I was on there, I would be such a good Faithful [and], little do you guys know, I’m a Traitor!”
She continued, “I think that’d be good, but then because people think I’m so sweet, like, ‘She has to be a Traitor,’ and what if I was really a Faithful and then I get sent home for no reason? I heard it’s a really long flight, like, I’m not flying there for two [or] three days. If I’m going, I’m winning, so we’ll see.”
JaNa will soon fulfill her wish of jetting off to the Scottish highlands for a visit to host Alan Cumming’s castle. NBC and Peacock announced on Friday, September 18, that JaNa was among the new murder mystery game players alongside Kristen Chenoweth, Cynthia Bailey, Joey Graziadei, Bronwyn Newport and more famous faces. JaNa also won’t be the only Love Island star in the castle as UK and USA narrator Iain Stirling was also cast.
JaNa rose to fame on Love Island USA season 6, where she left the villa in a relationship with Kenny Rodriguez. The pair, however, split within months after leaving the villa.
“Will there ever be a time that I can speak my piece? If only you guys knew how bad I’d love to share a beautiful storytime of what happened to me last summer,” JaNa told Us last month. “I’ve learned from my lawyers that it’s better to put it in God’s hands and let the world just know for a fact that they’re Team JaNa, so it’s OK. But oh, if I could choose, the world would be a very different place right now.”
After appearing on Love Island, JaNa appeared on its Beyond the Villa spinoff and on 2025’s Destination X.
The Traitors season 6 returns to Peacock in 2027.
