Get ready, y’all! The hottest country superstars are gearing up for the 2015 Country Music Association Awards red carpet — and the electrifying performances. Luke Bryan and Zac Brown Band gave Us Weekly an exclusive inside look at their rehearsals, and teased what fans can expect from the big show, which airs from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
“Just knocked out some rehearsing. Everything is good,” Bryan, 39, previews for Us. “Getting excited and ready for the big night. It’s going to be fun. Award shows are fun. [It’s nice to] huddle up and catch up with everybody.”
The “Kick the Dust Up” hunk was also joined by the Zac Brown Band on rehearsal day. The group is excited to see fellow artists perform, and will be playing “Beautiful Drug” during the show.
“It’s about a guy being addicted to a woman and she’s his drug,” Brown, 37, tells Us. “All of us can kind of relate to that!”
As previously reported, Bryan is up for two awards, including Entertainer of the Year. The Zac Brown Band is nominated in the Vocal Group of the Year category.
The 2015 CMA Awards will air live on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. ET. on ABC.
