She’ll be nodding her head like, yeah! Miley Cyrus is joining The Voice season 10 as a key adviser, NBC announced on Wednesday, February 3. The attention-grabbing pop star, 23, will assist all four teams’ singers on the competition series’ upcoming batch of new episodes.
Just before the official announcement was made, Cyrus tweeted a photo of herself on the show’s set getting up close and personal with one of its signature red buttons.

“When Miley speaks everyone pays attention. Our artists are very lucky to have the benefit of her instincts and wisdom,” said NBC exec Paul Telegdy in a statement. “Our viewers will be treated to an inside look at one of the brightest minds in music and the entertainment industry who is at the forefront of pop culture.”
Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams are all returning from season 9, with Christina Aguilera returning to the fray after Gwen Stefani stepped in for her last season.
Last week, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Diddy is advising Williams’ team, Tori Kelly is working with Levine’s vocalists and Patti LaBelle is on board to help guide Aguilera’s crew. Previously, Us had exclusively reported that Stefani would return to the hit show as adviser to boyfriend Shelton’s team.
Cyrus’ most recent album, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, was released in August. She appeared in the 2015 Seth Rogen comedy The Night Before and can soon be seen in Woody Allen‘s upcoming Amazon series.
The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, February 29, at 8 p.m. EST.
