Whitney Leavitt has her eyes set on the Great White Way — again — after walking away from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

“Your girl is gunna [sic] be back on Broadway soon,” Whitney, 32, cryptically wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, July 24, alongside footage showing the former reality TV star singing without any sound.

Whitney, who did not further reveal her apparent new role, made her Broadway debut in Chicago earlier this year. She revealed during the curtain call for her final performance in May that she was leaving Mormon Wives.

“Just to be very clear, I am finishing season 5. So yes, I will be in that season. But also yes, it will be my last,” Whitney explained in a social media video uploaded days later. “It’s honestly so crazy to me looking back on this journey because I had been trying to get into theater and film way before Secret Lives even came into my life.”

Whitney was among the OG stars on Hulu’s docuseries about a group of young Mormon moms pushing the boundaries of their LDS religion as they pursue their careers as online influencers.

“I have experienced so much with this group of women and in that process, I’ve also learned so much about myself,” she explained at the time. “We have been through so much together, even more than what you’ve seen. We’ve had really big highs, really big lows and no matter what happens with our relationships, that is something that will always be a part of our life, will always be a part of my life and I wouldn’t change a thing.”

While Whitney has previously left MomTok on a temporary basis, she stressed that this exit was “significantly different.”

“I feel content. I feel like this is a chapter that’s closing in my life and honestly, I believe that’s how it was always meant to be,” Whitney said. “I’m so grateful for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. It’s got me where I am today. It’s given me the opportunities that you all have seen but I’m ready. I’m ready for the next chapter and I cannot wait to share with you guys what’s next.”

Whitney has since launched a production company with her husband, Conner Leavitt, and booked the lead in an upcoming romantic comedy.

“The performance bug has always been a part of me,” Whitney told Playbill in March of her professional endeavors. “I have a very distinct memory of seeing Hairspray. That was my very first Broadway [musical] I’d ever seen. I just wanted to be up there with them. I love the camaraderie of a cast. Every time I see it, I want to join in on that.”
