Antonio Cipriano‘s girlfriend, Justine Verheul, spoke out against comments discussing the Off Campus star’s weight.
Verheul, 27, took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 19, to share highlights from a trip to Disney World. In the comments, an Off Campus fan mentioned Cipriano, 26, writing, “I’m saying this with love but please tell Antonio to bulk up and eat everything he can before filming starts for season two.”
The comment continued: “There’s a viral tweet over his gaunt face and how much weight he’s lost and I fear he’s going to have a lot of hate in season 2 if he doesn’t gain weight. Logan is supposed to be BIG.”
Verheul, for her part, shut down the commentary aimed at Cipriano’s appearance.
“Maybe let’s not comment on people’s weight,” she replied. “All love though.”
Verheul later noted in her Instagram Story that she was taking a “much needed social media break.” She has been dating Cipriano since 2023 and has supported her boyfriend after his scene-stealing role as Logan in season 1 of Off Campus.

Based on the book of the same name by Elle Kennedy, the show, which premiered earlier this month, follows an elite ice hockey team and the women in their lives. Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett’s (Belmont Cameli) love story took center stage in season 1 — with several key moments from their book, The Deal, swapped for an updated version.
At the same time, the show set up Allie (Mika Abdalla) and Dean (Stephen Kalyn) as the next possible leads despite them being featured in the third installment of the series. Logan, meanwhile, is expected to be the focus of the next few seasons alongside love interest Grace (India Fowler).
“What’s so great about the show and the adaptation is that all the writers had so much freedom to add so much more to these characters. The books are so POV driven between whoever is in their love story and there was so much more to play with,” Cipriano exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “You’re rooting for all of these characters.”
Cipriano expressed excitement at getting to expand on his character.
“You get to know Logan as a brother, as a teammate and as a best friend before he finds that love,” he noted. “You get to follow him on this arc of finding himself and those days. I was really grateful to have that opportunity. Now we’ve met Grace so I’m excited for him to get to meet her in the show.”
Off Campus is currently streaming on Prime Video.
