They go together like ramma lamma lamma ka dinga da dinga dong! Veteran stars Olivia Newton-John and Didi Conn staged a mini Grease reunion this past weekend when they performed together in Sin City.
Conn, 63, who played Frenchy in the 1978 musical, joined Newton-John in Las Vegas on Saturday, Jan. 3. The Brooklyn-born actress reunited with Grease's lead, 66, at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino, where Newton-John is holding her Summer Nights residency.
The singer and actress, who played Sandy opposite John Travolta's Danny, got back into her movie duds for the sweet moment with her costar. Still sporting her trademark shade of blonde, Newton-John slipped into a black leather jacket with an all-black outfit and a red lip, channeling the rebellious Sandy from the end of Grease.
Conn also paid homage to her own Grease character, rocking the trademark Pink Ladies jacket that both Frenchy and Sandy wore, along with their pals Betty Rizzo (Stockard Channing), Jan (Jamie Donnelly), and Marty Maraschino (Dinah Manoff).
In the years since her turn as the beauty school dropout, Conn has made appearances in TV shows such as The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang, Shining Time Station, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and acted in films like Frida and Oh Baby!, even reprising her role of Frenchy in 1982's Grease 2.
Newton-John also recently reunited with her leading man Travolta, now 60. The two stars recorded a holiday album together, releasing This Christmas in 2012 and filming accompanying music videos to the festive songs.
