Get ready for the Rocky Horror Glee Show!
On the Oct. 26 episode of Fox's Glee, Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and the gang suit up to pay homage to the 1975 cult film classic.
Directed by Adam Shankman, the episode features Michele as the film's heroine, Janet Weiss, and Monteith as Janet's fiance, Brad Majors. Heather Morris' ditzy cheerleader, Brittany, slips out of her Cheerios outfit to take on the role of tap dancer Columbia. (See pics, left)
Michele tells UsMagazine.com the episode was quite the undertaking.
"I've seen the movie, I saw the show on Broadway and let me tell you…I slept for 14 hours [after shooting] because that was a big episode to put together," the star, 24, tells Us. "The transformations, everybody playing a different character from the movie, it's extraordinary. I was showing my family pictures and my family had no idea which of our cast member they were. It's so out of this world."
While Michele remains in awe, her costar, Jayma Mays, was a little more worried to shoot her scenes.
"I [get] to sing in the Rocky Horror episode," Mays says. "It was really cool to be part of that. It's been a lot of fun. The dancing and singing makes me more nervous than kissing! I didn't grow up doing musical theatre."
Glee's Rocky Horror episode airs Oct. 26 on Fox.
