After discovering Ian's dead body in the July 5 episode of Pretty Little Liars, the four girls receive a visit from Officer Garret Reynolds in Tuesday's all-new episode.
"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry you all had to be the ones who found him," Reynolds (Yani Gellman) tells Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell).
"Melissa's the one who found him," Spencer corrects him.
"It could have been worse," Reynolds shrugs. "The body's decayed. He'd been dead at least a week."
After he walks away, the four girls begin to panic. "A week? No, that's impossible," Hanna frets. "He was texting Melissa!"
"No he wasn't. I'm betting it was A," Emily points out, referencing the mysterious person who's been tormenting the girls all year. "What does A want?"
